Anyone know of a school counseling master's which does not require the GRE or MAT, is 36 hours or less, and $12,000 or less? I know those are not easy criteria to match a school with.

    Michael,

I believe most states (and the NCATE) require that School Counseling programs be a 48 hour curriculum. There are schools that offer the program online (with a few on-campus intensives) without a GRE or MAT requirement, but at the price tag of 12k for the full program is going to be pretty difficult no matter what the school.

    Good luck in your search!

    LGFlood, thanks for your response.

UWA has a 33-hour degree but requires the MAT, and then there's the cost.

Univ. of Texas - Tyler has a 36-hour degree but requires the GRE.

    I'm still looking.
