Hi, Looking for a low cost option for a family member for the above. TESC has to accept them. I am discussing CLEP with him but he is stronger is math. Ideas for a low cost two course option appreciated. I am trying to help him piece together is Associates in Liberal Arts to use the 32 college credits and Femas he is accumulating. Our local CC require a placement test before he can take these online. Hille Thanks.
TESC accepts any/every ACE option, so I'd suggest Straigherline for English 101/102 if he doesn't want to test out. They are using ProctorU now, so there is a test, but it's only a portion of the total course score.
I'm not sure if TESC accepts CLEP English (I know Excelsior does not). If you live in California I suggest Coastline Community College. http://www.coastline.edu/admissions/schedule-classes/ If not I suggest Clovis CC http://www.clovis.edu/downloads/Summer2013Schedule.pdf Both have low tuition costs. You would have to check to see if there prerequisits.
Yes, as long as it's the version that requires the essay. (they changed the names, you'll have to check which one has the essay)
