Just in case this has not been addressed before, Coastline Community College in Southern California offers many courses online. The reason I am posting is because I just found out they are pretty liberal when it comes to a proctor for exams. I need a proctor that is open late, and they mentioned to me that even though their policy states only a handfull of people can be a proctor, they will actually consider other businesses like testing centers as long as they can verify it is a legitimate business.they mentioned many people even use Sylvan. And just as a reminder. If you are low income in California, there is a Board of Governors waiver that will.pay your tuition at the community colleges.
I took two geology courses at CCC about 3 years ago and no proctors were required. All quizzes and exams were on-line and timed.
I graduated from there in 2006 with an AA, and yes it was a mix for proctoring. For some classes proctors are required and for some they are not, pretty standard for them and others. It's a very good school for military folks like myself. Most of the people at my graduation were wearing a uniform, which was cool. CCC is a great two year school.
