University of Phoenix new DBA program

I hear that UOP will offer a DBA program in July at selected campuses as well as on-line. A MS is Criminal Justice is in the works also.

 

This is an interesting offering. I think they will probably attract more people to this doctoral program (DBA) than the Doctor of Management they currently offer.

 

Side Note:

UoP Faculty can take DL programs at Walden, Capella, Union, Argosy, and Fielding at reduced tuition rates. They may also choose to participate in the UoP program as well. Price breaks vary by instituion.

A few years ago Nova was also included in this list. Do you know if they are still on the UoP list?

2) What sort of dioscounts would we be talking about at the other institutions you mentioned for UofP faculty?

Faculty Discount is 50%

2) What sort of discounts would we be talking about at the other institutions you mentioned for UofP faculty?

At Walden the discount is 10%
At Capella the discount is 25%

Also on the list was Saybrook and Regents University.

I have not heard of this program offering. However, I was unable to attend a faculty meeting last week. Perhaps they announced it there.

I agree they would attract more people with a DBA than their current DM offering. When I heard it was NOT a DBA program, I scratched them off my list when I was looking at programs.

I believe the discount at Argosy for faculty is about 10%. It isn't much, but it does help.
