    Hi,
I posted earlier regarding chemistry with lab 4 credit DL. This is the only chemistry I need for RN to BSN program. I believe a DL chemistry with lab would be adequate for my needs. A basic college chemistry is all I really need If anyone knows of any places that offer anything like this please let me know. I did find one from a Coast Community College offered during the summer but would like others to compare. Would like to find something for a summer session.
    Thanks,
    Donna

Try www.ccconline.org. This is a consortium of Colorado community colleges. They have Chem 111. It's is a 5 semester hour course with lab included. I just checked and there are open "seats".

The University of Oklahoma offers both first and second semesters (each five units) of a year long chemistry for non-majors course. You can enroll at any time and study at your own pace. There are both on-line and correspondence versions and the lab seems to be a CD-ROM. It only costs $85/unit (hopefully that's not just in-state) so $85/unit x 5 units = $425. Plus books and stuff.

Others besides Donna might be interested in this as well. Although the University of Oklahoma doesn't offer any DL degrees, it apparently offers hundreds of self-paced independent study classes in most subjects.

A good place to look for individual classes is sometime Degreeinfo participant Joseph Wang's Globewide Network Academy at:

If you click on the catalog links through science to chemistry, you should find a bunch of candidate classes to check out.
