You may remember me as the Liberty University student who has been searching for years for an affordable, hopefully RA, bachelor's completion program in Occupational Health and Safety. Low and behold, I just happened across a fairly new(?) online program at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State Universityand at about $134 per credit hour (I believe). But, I have no knowledge of the school. Their website is not very informative, and initial attempts to call and get information has been frustrating. I do know that they are a historically black school. Can anyone give me additional information on this school or their online programs?

The university is one of th 16 consituient members of the UNC System, one of the countries best. You will be fine studying there. They are relatively new in DL, but will provide a great education for you. I work for one of the other campuses, though, and you may need to check the tuition. If you are not a NC resident, you would be required to pay out of state tuition.

NC A&T State University is located in Greensboro. A&T has strong programs in technology, education, engineering and agriculture. Good school, undergraduate and graduate level programs, regionally accredited. During the days of segregation, it was one of the traditionally minority schools. That is why there is also UNC Greensboro, which happened to be at one time, the women's college. Today, both are member schools of the University of North Carolina System.
