Does anyone here have any experience with University of Oklahoma's online independent calculus courses? I can't seem to find a syllabus everywhere, so I am assuming 100% of the grades are based on exams.

The courses are called "Calculus and Analytic Geometry".

I haven't taken any of these classes, but they use the standard text (Stewart) and they're the same courses an engineering student at OU would take, so they're definitely "real" calculus. For what it's worth, I think first-year calculus is one of the subjects that's least well suited to independent study. Unless you already know the material, a traditional classroom would probably be much easier.

I have done OU undergrad independent Study courses (Not Calculus). They were all the same format: Readings, with the grade based on 2-3 proctored tests.
