Historically I have had a very hard time accessing the web site of this South African university. Because it's one of the main components in the "UNISA merger" I've been interested to see what, if anything, they have to say about the merger on their web site. Tonight not only did I access the web site instantly but I also discovered that the site had been completely remodeled. While it has a bright new look, it is extremely shallow, very little real information provided related to degree programs, admissions protocols and, of course, DL offerings. They are clearly stating that they are offering Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees in a wide range of subjects but when I sent them an email requesting additional information, it was returned as undeliverable (it was sent to the email addressed specified for just this sort of inquiry). Also, there was no mention at all of the merger. Does anyone know anything about what is going on at Vista these days? Jack
I don't have any info about what may be going on there, but I did receive an email response on 4/24 to an inquiry about DL that I had sent a couple weeks ago. Has anyone out there in cyberland had any DL experience with Vista?
I e-mailed them about two years ago regarding the possiblity of pursuing a post-graduate degree via DL. I received no response.
I have found their new website totally useless. I can't open up anything except the first page. I also emailed them awhile back about graduate work and have yet to hear from them. My experience has been that Unisa and Unizul have been the most responsive of the SA schools. clint
