Hello, Has anyone any information about colleges/universities that offer programs/degrees via distance education mode? I am aware that University of the Philippines has an Open University campus program which offers limited programs. Any others?
There are quite a few distance education programs in the Philippines, but the use of the internet is still fairly new there. A more common model is to have many different education centers in major cities around the country. UPOU does this, as does CAP College, the largest private distance education college. You may also have problems if you are not located in the Philippines- many schools won't accept students not living there. Other tertiary institutions offering distance programs include De La Salle University, AMA Computer College, and the Asian Institute of Management. For more information on the subject, you may wish to consult the recent Projects for International Education Research (PIER) book on the Philippines, for which I was the Workshop Director.
Thanks Thank you, Jason, for your comments. Does any of the institutions/programs offer doctoral work via distance or is that equally limited? KKA
Hey KKA KKA: Forgive me for going off topic but how long did it take you to get all those degrees. Geez I think you have Honest Bob Mugabe beat for number of credentials held.
Kane I have been a college student (in addition to professionally working) since I was 19. I am 39 now. KKA
My CV is about 10 Pages. And, to paraphrase Rhett Butler, "Frankly, my friend, I don't give a damn" about the Redwings, Lions or Tigers. Did I miss anybody else?
