    Hello All,

I am wrapping up my MBA at Touro and I am in the process of applying for the Army's Enlisted Commissioning Program. It's a great deal for soldiers, who essentially are sent to school for 2 years to complete a BSN and draw full pay and allowances for same.

In my application process, I have fallen a few courses short for my prerequisites. I need:

    College Algebra
    Gen Chem 1-2 with lab
    Microbiology with lab
    Anatomy and Physiology with lab
    Statistics
    Human Growth and Development

What recommendations do you make for search engines that allow you to search for individuals courses from many different institutions. I have tried Petersons.com and can not link to their individual course area.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards,
    Steven King

  2. Excelsior College's DistanceLearn database -- which is what Petersons used -- is available at http://distancelearn.excelsior.edu/

It's the easiest to use and provides the most useful results of the online course databases I've tried.

If you're looking specifically for online courses, you might also try http://www.mindedge.com/

You answer is as close as the search engine on this board. All the above have been discussed here before. Search under "biology" and "algebra". Good Luck.

    Thanks for the links...

    To everyone who responded:

Thanks for the links you've provided. I will be utilizing them over this week to nail down information about the aforementioned needs.

If anyone has the skinny on DL with labs...I'm enthusiastically listening... :D

    Kind regards,
    Steven King

I'd suggest taking the CLEP or DANTES exams for College Algebra, Statistics, and Human Growth and Development. I took the Human Growth and Development CLEP a few weeks ago and scored a 73 (you only need to get a 50) after just one night of preparation. If you're interested in taking that exam feel free to email me and I can send you some links and advice that will help you prepare for it. If you need to have the credit transcribed you might want to see if Touro would do it since you are still enrolled there.
