The University of Leicester offers a PhD via distance learning in politics... Distance Learning — University of Leicester
University of Southern Mississippi has a PhD in International Development with various concentrations, but it's a hybrid program. EagleLearningOnline Clemson University has an online PhD in International Family and Community Studies. I can't remember how many campus visits are required. I'm having issues with loading the webpage right now. http://www.grad.clemson.edu/programs/Family-Community-Studies/
AV8R- There are some great looking programs there at Leicester. Does anyone have any experience with them? Also, does anyone happen to know the costs? The web page states the following: Fees These are the total course fees. 2012/13 UK/EU - £14,645 International - £17,530 2013/14 Home/EU - £15,305 International - £18,320 Does anyone know if that means per year or for the entire program? Thanks again for everyone's help in advance! I love this place! GBS
Gbssurvivor1, here is a link to a thread where another degreeinfo member talks about his experience communicating with the school and the cost of the program... http://www.degreeinfo.com/general-distance-learning-discussions/43448-university-leicester.html
Per the admission advisor that I contacted, £18,320 is for the entire program. Once you enroll into the program, the tuition is locked; meaning the yearly tuition increase does not effect you. The students allow to break into several installments.
Thank you Tekman! That sounds much better! I greatly appreciate your assistance and insight. Have a great weekend,
