Interesting development from Excelsior College. They now allow you to test out of 5 of their MBA courses, leaving a student with 11 more full courses to complete the Excelsior MBA. To be honest, the degree is still way too expensive for it to make sense for most students, but hey, it's another option out there. This would nix the notion that one could transfer the courses to another MBA program.
Well, take a closer look. On Excelsior's main MBA program page, click to pop down on "Excelsior College MBA Degree Credit Requirements." So these Foundation Exams allow you to test out of prerequisites that you could have met at the undergraduate level all along, undergraduate coursework – or, if I'm not mistaken, variously with CLEP, DSST, ECE or TECEP tests at the undergraduate level.
