Graduate Transfer Credits in TESOL?

I am an older adult female who finished my two years (33 credit hours) of Masters Studies in TESOL at an accredited U.S. university in 2009. I had a GPA of 3.68/4 but I did not pass my Comprehensive exam and therefore was not awarded the Masters. I have been searching a way in order to obtain this degree without having to repeat hours, classes and time (and money) already arduously spent. Therefore, my question does anyone know of a graduate school that might transfer in at least most of these credits in a similar program? Or, any other suggestions are also welcome!
    Thanks for any help!

Usually less than 9 credits might transfer into another graduate program, but other posters will probably expand on this.

Would you be looking at TESOL again, or a new major?

BobbyJim is right. You'll never find another legitimate school that will accept that many credits in transfer. Your best bet is to study hard and re-take your comps.

Hi and thank you both for your replies. I certainly wouldn't want to take those TESOL classes over so I would probably be looking into a similar degree where I might transfer some of those credits.
I cannot 'study hard and re-take your comps' (implying I did not study hard the first time?) because I had two chances to take the exam and I did not pass either! And I DID study very hard...it might have been memory problems, testing issues...who knows but I had a good GPA nevertheless!
My aim now is to get the degree with transferring as many possible credits into another program.

The maximum number of graduate hours accepted as transferable to my knowledge would be 15-18 (with most 6-9). Even so, perhaps you might find another grad program you may perhaps negotiate transferring-in further hours (?).

Note: You may want to too consider in your program search ... a grad program that does not entail the comprehensive exam (?).
