I would like to study English or Business at UoL and i got a few questions:

    - since the exams are once a year, how often do you get home assignments and equivalent for the time being? What does homework look like? Essays? Other?

    - What is the best way to keep all of the learned info together? I can see this being an issue since the exams are only once a year and content is not only a lot but also deep. Any techniques?

    - are any exams multiple choice?

    Thanks.

    Greetings,

I think the structure of the courses is somewhat dependent on the level at which you are studying. At the bachelor's degree level, I don't think there is much of anything in the way of home assignments over the course of the year. You simply get your study guides and book lists and show up in the spring for your exams. At the master's degree level (which is what I did), there were some assignments along the way. There was one writing assignment in most of the modules that counted toward the final mark (only about 15% if I remember correctly) and some other stuff that was designed to guide you in your learning. This included some individual and group work done through Moodle. As for multiple choice exams, I know that none of my exams had any. I can't imagine that any of them are multiple choice type, but others may know something I don't. Best of luck!

    Peace,
    db

Its for an undergrad (Bachelor) program. ok wow, so no home assignments, essays or anything? You just have to show up and write the exam? I wonder, how do the others do it? Is there anyone or knows someone who has completed his Bachelor at UoL?
