Hey guys, havent been on here for a while. I hope everyone is doing well.

I am looking into the career pathway of an architect now, can someone suggest any good schools here in Southern California. As you know, I completed a bachelors in business at UOP last year.

Does anyone know of any part time architect programs out here?

    Thank you.

Hmmm...what to say here? Shawn, why have you picked Architecture?

Hi Shawn - From the way you've phrased your question it sounds like you are interested in a classroom-based program. Is that correct? If not, then why does the school need to be in S. California?

The NCARB, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, has a helpful set of pages on Studying Architecture.

It looks like the only reliably clear path to licensure as an architect in in most situations, for a student studying in the U.S., includes graduation from a program accredited by the NAAB, the National Architecture Accrediting Board. This would be a specifically "professional" program like B.Arch. or M.Arch. rather than, say, a B.A. in Architecture or an M.S. in Architectural Studies, which are "non-professional."

Here are the 10 schools with NAAB-accredited professional programs in California.
