It's not a degree but a marketable professional certificate you can add to a Bachelors, Masters, or even a Doctorate. There is a "residency," such as attendance at one of the American Evaluation Association (AEA) conferences or a workshop at at the RA B&M university in Claremont, California. The cost is about $12k.

Certificate of Advanced Study in Evaluation, at Claremont Graduate University.

Here is another article on Career Opportunities in Evaluation.

Note: Evaluation Science is a interdisciplinary field, meaning you can practice with a degree from any discipline. However, the common degree disciplines where you will find concentrations in evaluation is public administration, policy analysis, psychology, not-for-profit management, sociology, etc. Evaluation Science is basically applied research on programs with the goal of judging whether they are meeting their intended purpose.

Northcentral has the CAGS (certificate of Advance Graduate Studies) program..Many people who go for this degree are testing out the school/dont want to go through the whole "dissertation" process cuz the CAGS is a post-master's program..the classes taken can be transferred into a doctoral/phd program
