DETC Conference - anyone going?

The DETC Annual Conference starts this Sunday in Denver. Is anyone going? As discussed here before, it would be nice (though wishful thinking perhaps) if Jarvis were to make his presentation as originally scheduled.

John B. gave us some good feedback from the conference last year.

 

The feedback I heard from Denver is that Jarvis did indeed give his talk about U.S. Open University. Though I don't know if he used his original title, which was "The British Are Coming!" Apparently he stuck to the story that USOU didn't grow fast enough to satisfy its parent.

Anybody have first-hand information from the conference?

 

No, just the same second hand stuff about USOU or OUUS (whatever one choses to call it). You would have thought that the OUUK would have done a bit more planning before blowing $ 20 million, though.
