    I am a military spouse stationed in Germany. I have a Bachelor's in Anthropology. We will be stationed abroad for 2 more years. Does anyone have any knowledge of this program? I had never heard of them before and would love some feedback.

    Walden University is a decent higher educational academic institution; however, it is a solely distance learning with residencies for several Doctorate degrees. I would recommend you to find the best school as possible to avoid any criticism. And try to avoid solely distance learning institution as possible. Here are some of the programs from best colleges/universities:

    * University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill
    * University of Massachusetts

    Partial Online
    * Emory University
    * Johns Hopkins University 80% can be completed online

    Walden is not accredited by the CEPH. Also I always suggest choosing a school that has a real brick and mortar campus; it will increase the credibility of an online degree.

    CEPH - Search Accredited Schools and Programs

    Most states and many employers will not hire someone with a non-CEPH MPH.

    There are many CEPH accredited distance MPH programs, including the one I'm in San Jose State (CA). Check "On-line programs at the above page for a list.

    It's foolish to get a second-rate degree, especially one that you will pay more for.

    Some State Universities will give an in-state rate for military and military spouses overseas.

    Please thank your spouse for his/ her service to our country.
