I got my BA in Historic Preservation about a year and a half ago. Recently I've been doing a lot of research on going back to school for and MBA, as I felt it was a bit more practical, but now I'm thinking I would be more happy/successful if I continued my education in something I KNOW I'll enjoy. Does anyone have advice/experience attending a school, online or not, for a masters in Historic Preservation?

Oklahoma has an online masters in museum studies Master of Arts - Museum Studies Option - College of Liberal Studies - The University of Oklahoma Another option is Leicester in the UK Museum Studies by Distance Learning — University of Leicester I understand both are well regarded - check with curators at your local museums.
Great, thanks for the help. Have either of you, or anyone else, studied or worked in historic preservation? I understand it can be a difficult field to get into and would appreciate any advice on what to study that may give me an advantage/career paths in the field/any advice at all that may help. I'm a little nervous about spending more money on an education that may not even help me get work.
I volunteered at a WWII aircraft museum that kept its aircraft preserved and in flying condition. I visit lots of places where historic preservation is taking place including national and state parks, railroad museums, and natural history museums where much work is done by volunteers. I suggest you volunteer at such a place and make contacts. Your BA should qualify you for an entry level position. I suggest you pursue a masters only after you have at least a years work experience.
