Comes Now Newport University of Latvia

Approval and Recognition | Newport University CED

From the Royal Charter from "The Royal Highness Nana Dr. Obeng Wiabo V, the Chief of Gomoa Nyanyano" in Ghana to the good ol "WIDU -- World Information Distributed University," to the Tomsk State University to the U.S. Apostille, I think I've never seen a school with so many accreditations, recognitions, and honors.

 

Yes, Dr. Bear - many "honors" but this one is the "killer" and I mean that in the literal sense:

"Newport University CED has been evaluated by California University FCE regarding our curriculum, programs, our professors, staff’s qualifications, students and Certifies our curriculum as equivalent to the U.S. regionally and nationally accredited universities."

You and I -and many of us here - all know about CUFCE, Dr. Bear. They issue their meaningless "California University" degree-looking thingies for a price, to anyone who pays for their "foreign credential evaluations" that have no NACES, ACCRAO or other legit approval or credibility. Wasn't that balding guy who lives in Kentucky once a bigwig of sorts there?

Is this place a resurgence, perhaps, of the old Newport International University (unaccredited) once resident in California --and (at that time) run by somebody you might know? IIRC, there were two unaccredited schools, somehow connected, back then. Newport University (now Janus University) and Newport International. I think maybe this is the "New Improved Newport International University" or what amounts to it.

Sorry... I totally misread the topic at first. I guess my inner comic book nerd had taken over. I thought it said the university was in Latveria, and I wondered if Dr. Doom was teaching the courses...
