If a school's website says the following "Admission to our Masters Degree program requires a conferred Bachelors degree from an accredited academic institution." -NCU Then is it necessary to have a Bachelors in that field or just one in general. For example, a Bachelors in Political Science, and go for a Master's in Business. Or is the implication there and I'm simply over-reading it?

Generally speaking it simply means "any bachelors". This is commonly expanded to "any regionally accredited bachelors" at a regionally accredited school. You may also have specific prereqs to fulfill.

Some, like Western Governors and AMU/APU are fine with NA bachelors.

There are a nearly infinite number of combinations.

Usually if they require a Bachelors in a specific field it is specified from what I have read. Often you may see references to bridge work meaning that you can take courses to meet the requirements. In the above it states they want a Bachelors from an accredited institution, so RA and possibly NA would be fine. Often in the school only accepts RA they will state that by saying something like a Bachelors from a Regionally Accredited ...

I would read it to mean that an accredited Bachelors degree is the minimum requirement for consideration. However, if the Masters degree program requires that you start out by taking Differential Equations, or Stochastic Modeling and you've never taken Calculus then you might want to understand that they'll ask you to complete these prerequisites before being formally admitted into the program.

Ah ok, thanks everyone. And seeing as my Bachelors is from a B&M I think I'll be ok.
