ok, I'm a college drop out at a public 4 year university, had about 50 credits to go out of 120 due to major health problem which lead to financial problem. and that was 2005. anyway, now I have two kids so I have to work full time, and wife is still in college full time. I really wanted to finish college consider the fact I will not have time to go to class everyday. and Google brought me to this site. I was majored in Computer Science. but my true passion is more of a Engineering major. here is what I wanted to know, if I finish my CS degree online (say at TESC), is it possible for me to pursue a Master degree in Engineering at a regular University in the future. need some suggestions, thanks very much

I suspect that you're going to be unhappy with the answers you get to your question. As you know there are few, if any, engineering Bachelor degrees offered through DL. The problem with using a CS degree to get into an Engineering Masters program is that you're not going to have the background. Even a Math degree or a Physics degree might not do the trick. If there was a way for you to pick up those engineering courses in a classroom based school you'd have a decent chance.

Why would you want to complete Computer Science major for undergraduate, then Engineering major for graduate? What field of engineering you're looking for? Mechanical, Aerospace, Computer, Electrical, Telecommunications, Architectural? The undergraduate engineering degrees are limited via distance learning. The University of North Dakota has a few programs. As far as distance learning for Master level; there are plenty of them.

For Doctorate: Mississippi State University offers Ph.D in Electrical, Computer, and etc via distance learning. Also the Ivy League School, Columbia University offers Doctor of Engineering Science in Electrical Engineering.

well, it's because I already completed more than half of my CS degree at OSU.
