have completed a three year degree with NCC EDUCATION,UK in business information systems awarded and accredited by the university if wales...am now about to move to the US so wanted to ask if my degree certificate will be accepted by the universities in the USA for my MASTERS.....
If the degree was issued by the University of Wales you shouldn't have a problem. Which Masters programs are you considering?
Well you have to be specific. Is tuition a factor for you? Also, do you prefer distance learning (online), classroom, or hybrid? Here are some of the US institutions program available for you. - Northwestern University - Evanston, IL - MS in Information Systems - University of Maryland - Baltimore County - MS in Information Systems
You should call the school. It would only take a phone call to the school you are planning to attend to find out for sure. Better to hear it directly from the source than to move forward on a bunch of opinions from members. We have many learned and talented members, but you would most likely only get opinions.
am now about to get to the US.....so making plans...and checking on ma options by asking pple here.... i dnt want a long distance or online learning....want to study in the institution ....but am happy ma university of wales certificate will be accepted in US
i wld have loved to but verifying if ma certificate from wales is acceptable.....nd check options pple know here b4....but am happy u say the certificate from wales is accepted there
Since you are planning on attending a campus based school we wouldn't be able to recommend a specific university until we know where you plan to live. Ultimately, the acceptability of your current degree will be up to the school that you apply to.
will live in CONNECTICUT that's west haven.can u plss help me out with the universities around this area that offer masters in information systems .....
This forum is focused on Distance Learning. Therefore, unless someone on this board lives or works in the West Haven area, I don't know how much feedback you will receive regarding your question.
I attended a California State University for my masters degree. I met people from the UK and South Africa who had earned three year degrees. Initially they were denied admittance but after appeal to university personnel that had higher ranking then the enrollment personnel they were admitted (and they were very good students). So if the institution initially rejects you request review by higher authorities.
