    Good morning,

Please forgive me if I've posted in the wrong area. I wanted to list the courses I plan to attempt within the next year and hopefully get some advice from the members here.

Here is the number of credits I currently have, what I need, and what I plan to attempt:

Charter Oak accepted 58 of my transfer credits towards a Individualized Studies BS
I've completed 8 FEMA courses accepted by Charter Oak

Which means I need 54 credits. I believe 36 of those 54 would need to be in a concentration. 30 of the 54 need to be upper level. 6 of them will be the corner and capstones. 9 will be liberal arts and corequisite courses.

I plan to attempt 8 tests before the year is over and am wondering if I am being realistic. Here is what I plan to attempt:

    Management information systems, DSST
    Principles of Macroeconomics, CLEP
    Principles of Finance, DSST
    Principles of Financial Accounting, DSST
    Principles of Marketing, CLEP
    Financial Institutions & Markets, TECEP
    Federal Income Taxation, TECEP
    Money & Banking, DSST

I tried to choose tests I'm interested in as well as those that would apply towards a concentration.

If all goes well, then next semester, I would attempt these tests:

    Principles of Management, CLEP
    Human Resource Relation, ECE
    Labor Relations, ECE
    Operations Management, TECEP
    Strategic Management, TECEP
    Organization Behavior, ECE
    Business Ethics in Society, DSST

Any advice you guys may have would be awesome. I would try to take these in some type of order so that each builds upon the other. I'm actually already schedule for one of them.

Are you currently enrolling at COSC, or you're trying to get all the credits lineup before enrolling?

Completely possible - I looked at the military passing rates and took the free 10 question sample test for anything that had (1) a high military passing rate and (2) I knew something about. If I got more then 5 right on the free sample test I took the test without study. I was in the Army Reserve so the tests were free which as great because I did not care if I failed (from a cost perspective). I passed a lot of tests without study and only failed 2 - Global something or other and Government. Here is what I passed-

TEKMAN-I'm currently enrolled and will start classes October 29th :)

Randall-That's amazing! And so encouraging. After taking a second look at things, I may need dramatically less credits through testing :) I've signed up for my first three today and am hopeful!
