So, im looking at TESC I have no degree. I am trying to build one. I have my highschool im from Canada so international.

some questions. is it free to transfer credit?

there are two degrees I thinking of.

    Thomas Edison State College: Marketing

    Thomas Edison State College: English

I'm going to have to dissect them both and make a plan.

    any reccomendations?

    the game name is Inexpensive!

The credits transferring to TESC are free; however, if you looking for credit banks. It costs you money for using TESC for credit banks. You can use FEMA's courses for FREE up to 21 General Educational Elective credits.

I think FEMA courses can only be taken by US residents or citizens.

However the college where you earned credit will charge a fee to transfer that credit to another college (usually $5 to $20).

Forget English unless you are going into teaching or plan on going to law school.

Unless you are already in marketing I suggest you aim for a general business degree - you can include additional marketing courses as electives.

I suggest you also look into degrees offered by COSC and Excelsior.

And to save money plan your degree, accumulate around 90 semester units, then sign up with a college (one of the big three).
