Don't expect your diploma to arrive from Liberty too quickly

Does it always take several months to get a diploma? I remember that I had my master's from National University within two weeks of having the degree conferred. My EdS from Liberty was conferred in early July and I have still not received my diploma. My account has always been paid in full and there are no other issues.

I've got this very cool diploma frame sitting in the corner, calling out to me "I'm empty, I'm eeemmmpptty" It's not me that is impatient, it's the frame. Really.

I contacted Liberty and they didn't really seem to know what happened. The very nice person who was helping me said he thought that maybe the order somehow got dropped because a lot of other people got theirs.

The staff at Liberty is so nice and so helpful that I'm sure this is just an honest mistake that happens sometimes.

I had the same problem at my junior college and it took 8 months for me to get my diploma. Many big colleges and universities only print diploma's once per year; which is what happen in my case.

I received my AA and BS degrees from Liberty within two weeks of them being conferred.

I just got an email today informing me that they mailed the diploma. That will be about a 9 week turnaround. I guess that's not too bad. Somebody did goof up somewhere though; their website says 2 to 6 weeks max. Oh well, we are all human, I suppose.

I earned two AA degrees from my local community college. Each degree took close to 2-3 months to arrive in the mail. I think this can be a typical time frame to wait. Regardless, congratulation on earning your degree.

Maybe Liberty is checking all those term papers for plagiarism before the diploma is mailed.

Thanks, Ab. Those diploma frames aren't cheap either. Especially if you want a nice gold lettered one with the school name on it. It's worth it though.

My AA diploma took 1 month from my official graduation date, which was a month and a half after I finished my last cedits.

Once again, I just turned my home office chair around to stare at my diploma. I still can't believe I have it. Wow.

Heck no they are not cheap, but after all that hard work, loss of sleep, etc. It is more than worth it. I have mine framed in gold lettering, matting, along with that gold coin denoting the discipline and degree demarkation on it. Now I have to find time and have my MBA framed. I am going to the same place I always go to so all the frames match.

    Good night!

I got my AA from Liberty and it conferred on Nov. 5, 2012. I had my diploma by Thanksgiving.

Wow, very long wait times indeed. I suspect that if a student took 8 months to submit a paper the outcome would not be so good some grading time.

A few months I can understand but months and months... That is truly shame.

Well, you can always print a nice looking "temporary" diploma.
Or have one ordered, it may even look nicer then the original that is in the mail.

I seen a cool looking diploma replica, that is way nicer then original of the particular college.
