Hello, I saw an add for this online college designed for students with autism. This is an interest and focus of mine and thought someone might benefit. sage.edu/achievetrial or e-mail [email protected]. I have no affiliation with this program. Hille

The Sage Colleges are a group of private colleges in the Albany, NY area. They are primarily B&M, but recently introduced an online "Achieve Degree" program designed for students on the autism spectrum. Apparently the online aspects of the course were developed in association with Excelsior College.

I am glad there is such a program available. Great idea. I wish only that tuition for the complete degree didn't have to be around $150,000. That would likely eliminate a significant number of families that are already under financial pressure from the potential students' on-going needs. I guess that high tuition figure is at least in part due to the significant (and necessary) one-on-one component.

I wish them - students and faculty - every success.

Landmark College in VT is also another college that has a specialized focus on people who have a ASD. Also, in order to get into the school you are REQUIRED to have either a documented LD or be on the Autism Spectrum, somewhere. It's got some great programs... however none are online. I am interested to see what an online program geared toward ASD is like.
