Since the topic has come up regarding D.Min programs and entering them without the M.Div. I thought I would toss this one out there.

Midwest Theological Seminary (St. Louis) is a candidate for TRACS accreditation. They offer D.Min.'s in several areas including Christian Education and Christian Leadership. My understanding from them is if you wish to do these programs with out the M.Div you can enter them but must complete 76 credit hours (at least based on a 48 credit hour M.A. so I am not sure if it applies to the 36 hr M.A. as well).

MTS has a campus with dormatories. The majority of the work is DL but you must attend a couple of short residencies on campus (a week or two long). They are VA approved.

Should add that it has a dissertation requirement as well.

    North,

Assuming all goes well, what is their timeline for receiving TRACS accreditation?

I never asked them although I did seriously consider their program. My impression (just an impression) is that they should do well. They seem organized and have a traditional campus to include dormatories. They seem to be a heavily Korean organization.
