On March 25, 2002, Capella University launched iGuide, a Web-based tool designed to provide Capella learners with instant, individualized access to day-to-day academic and administrative services.

iGuide is the second installment of a comprehensive suite of online tools developed by Capella to make the online learning experience more interactive and convenient for learners. In October, Capella launched the first-of-its-kind 2-Minute Advisor, an interactive survey designed to provide prospective learners with recommendations on courses or programs that best match their interests and goals, an assessment of their learning style and fit with online learning.

"Capella is committed to providing a high quality and supportive online learning environment," said Michael Offerman, EdD, president of Capella University. "Our suite of tools, now including iGuide, puts a wealth of information and resources at the fingertips of our learners. Through iGuide our learners will have instant and individualized access to their academic and administrative information at any time, day or night."

By accessing iGuide's secure and private connection, learners can register for courses, request their transcripts, manage their financial aid, and track their academic progress. iGuide provides one-stop access to the online library, the bookstore, the writing center, or any of the learner services offered by Capella, as well as the latest news and information from the university.
