I have been looking at these schools and their programs as well as cost for Marketing/Business programs.

    Fort Hays State University
    University of Northwestern Ohio
    Minot State University
    University of wyoming

They are fairly close in cost and have similar program requirements although their are some differences. University of Northwestern Ohio uses quarters instead of semesters which makes it a little more complicated.

How are these schools compare to each other. I am wanting to going to marketing research.

    Thanks

It depends you're looking for, costs, reputation, and curriculum; however, overall I would recommend you the University of Wyoming.

I just did some more research on the university of Wyoming website and it says that they do not accept students from several state because of some type of state regulation. One of those states in Iowa in which I live. I have also been searching the forums and come across Peru University as well. Since, I will be paying for college myself cost has a lot to do with it and I need a school that has a payment plan.

    Thanks

This is actually due the the federal Higher Education Act, which as of July 2011 mandates that out-of-state schools that provide instruction to schools in states that have regulations on distance or correspondence learning must comply with those states' regulations or else stop providing services in those states. It appears to be meant as a consumer protection measure, but I think the net effect is that if a state so chooses, it can pretty much close its distance education market to schools that operate within its state borders. There had to be a better way to deal with this.
