I think that I have found my next persuit! Mount Ida College, near Boston, offers a certificate in Thanatology (the study of death, dying, and bereavement) that can be completed through classes on campus or online. Each course is 10 CE units, $250, and one month long. The certificate requires 60 CE units and an academic project. Totally going for this!

60 CE units are also what is required to apply for the Certified in Thanatology credential.

I enjoyed a course that I took in thanatology.

"The 60 documented contact hours may be earned through university courses (one three-credit semester course is equivalent to 45 contact hours) or workshops." So evidently I already have 45 of the contact hours complete with my 03 credit course.

Don't worry about it! I love word play. It's eulogy how I communicate.
