I saw this organization listed here: The Institute of America: College Credit Recommendations: National CCRS giving credit recommendations for some courses they offer. I can't find anything searching the net resembling info about an org. with that name, nor their website. (The recommendations indicate they have online learning however)
I'm curious about them as well. From what I read there, it seems that they offer their own examinations (though I can't find how one would take them) and they also have a network of partner schools (over 1500 schools according to the site) who have agreed to CCRS exam credits. CCRS also appears to act similat to the way ACE does, evaluating other schools courses and making a credit recommendation. But honestly, before another poster made a thread about this a little while back, I'd never heard of the NCCRS before.
