Greetings, I've tried searching the forums here and come up with a couple of leads, but I was wondering if anyone can recommend Hindi language courses available via distance learning. I'd prefer something in the US, but obviously, there are likely to be more institutions in Northern India that offer courses. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot. Peace, db
Here is a free (non-credit) online course, offered by UPenn: New Directions New People: Welcome Oakton Community College (Illinois) offers two Hindi-Urdu online courses (both courses are being offered this Fall). Best of all, as DL students pay "in district" tuition, these 4 credit courses are only $93.75/credit (+ a $20/course fee). BTW, Oakton offers a number of other online courses, including two French and four Spanish courses.

This is great. Oakton is just on the other side of Chicago from me. I'll look into this one for the fall. Peace, db
