I found a link that I would like to use on a spammer somehow. We constantly wrangle with people who try to spam DI with Nike knockoffs, dishonest paper writing services or even much more distasteful things. Members don't really see them that much, but we deal with them every day. I was thinking of something like: "If you disagree with our banning you, click here to complain to the moderators: Degree Info Complaint Server When you click it, this little thing comes up that says "you are an idiot". I can change the visible name of the link to anything without changing where it goes. Any better ideas of how to use it? Click it and tell me what you think, it would be really funny to use this somehow. This is not something that will damage anybodies computer, I would never to that to anyone, spammer or not.
Send it to something that will damage their computer instantly upon clicking. I don't know of anything myself, but that's what spammers deserve.
No can do without accepting legal liability for the damages. Additionally, doing something like that can get the site put on to Internet blacklists. If you must use it as a redirect just send them somewhere cute and innocuous like pampers.com ITJD
Yeah, I forgot about the possible legal ramifications. Well, a redirect to the FBI or Homeland Security website would be a nice message.
@SurfDoctor There was a version of the "You Are An Idiot" page years ago that would keep opening windows until your computer couldn't handle it anymore and you had to just turn it off.
