Good morning, everyone! After reading the thread about the alternative route to earning the B.S. in Computer Science from Oregon State University, I became curious about similar degrees. Do other universities offer such short programs to B.A./B.S. holders (programs that only require major credits, not gen. ed. ones!)? If you know of any such courses in any field, please feel free to share. I am very curious! Messdiener
I'm very interested in this myself. Other than the Big 3, most of the programs I looked into seem to require about 2 additional years even if you already have a BA/BS. The OSU B.S. in Computer Science was a great find. Now if I was more of "computer guy" I'd probably do it.
UMass offers a 2nd BS in IT Several schools (including Utah State) offer a DL 2nd BS in Communication Science and Disorders (helpful when applying to speech therapy programs, but could be useful in its own right). I've considered a 2nd B.S. as a way to gain an in-depth level of knowledge in a particular subject area and as a way to bolster my resume (nothing wrong with Bellevue - my alma mater, but it's not exactly well known). Anyone know of a 2nd BS in Psychology offered via DL?
