Will On-Line Higher Education Impact the Economy?

    That's a very general article, but it covers most of the issues fairly accurately. I question this statement though, "Still, although many prefer alumni from top traditional programs, employers are slowly warming up to graduates of accredited online universities." I know there is discrimination against online degrees in some industries, but in my profession, no administrators I know of are "slowly warming up" to online degrees, the administrators I know couldn't care less if your degree is online or in person. They just want to know that it is regionally accredited and more importantly, they want to know if you can do the job. The degree is just a checkmark in a box.
