Usually, if I'm interested in surfing through some university websites, especially non-USA schools, I go through a sort of index site. This is my favorite: http://www.mit.edu:8001/people/cdmello/geog.html This is another that I've recently found: http://www.braintrack.com I'd be interested in knowing if there are any other index or portal sites that people have found to be especially useful. I agree with the contributions above. These would be good links to include in the forthcoming content section of degreeinfo. Study SA has brief descriptions of South African universities, and links to their sites. I find the following general sites helpful: UNESCO links to country portals UNESCO country-by-country educational system summaries (these are .rtf files you need to open in MS Word or Wordpad) Jonnie's page listed above is useful for graduate business programs. For undergraduate programs, Gus Sainz's site Distance Learning Undergraduate Business Degrees is recommended. As general search engines for courses, I use the following (well, typically only the first two): Telecampus Globewide Network Academy CyberU Hungry Minds International Centre for Distance Learning International Distance Learning Course Finder MindEdge Peterson's Lifelong Learning WorldWideLearn Ed-X
The above database and http://www.braintrack.com include both accredited and unaccredited universities. For example, Clayton University is inlcuded as one of the universities in Hong Kong. In fact, it is NOT one of the registered universities in Hong Kong.
