The National College Credit Recommendation Service (National CCRS)
is conducted by the Board of Regents of The University of the State of New York.
There is a handy tool that list trainings by various agencies that are recommended for college credit. Some like the Henry George program can be done totally online. (recommended for 3 credits cost 250 dollars)

When I read the Henry George site it seems to indicate that it's $25 for each course, but if you want to take a final proctored exam and be eligible for college credit under the NCCRS standards, you'll have to pay a one-time fee of $250.

I wonder if each course is worth 3 credits (equaling 9 credits), or is it that you get 3 total credits by finishing all 3 courses?

You must complete all 3 courses for 3 credits

Credit recommendation: In the lower division associate/baccalaureate degree category, 3 semester hours in Economics (2/12). NOTE: Students must complete all three courses in the Principles of Political Economics Series to benefit from the credit recommendation.
