    Hi Everyone:

Happy Easter! Since finishing my Ed.S from Northwestern, I have been getting the itch to return and finish the Ed.D program. I have looked at many, many options such as NCU (sketchy tuition changes bother me), Aspen (the NA designation holds me back here), Northeastern (high tuiton cost here) and Liberty (religious focus here) were the main contenders for me. However, for the listed reasons, I cannot make the first step.

Dr. Pena had a post on a spell back about two schools that grabbed my attention (Morehead State and, in particular, West Georgia University) and got me to thinking that some other options may exist that would not require me to settle financially, emotionally or intellectually like my previous list. The three main requirements I'd need to consider a program would be:

    1) Preferably a state school with a payment plan and not lump sum each semester

    2) Some on-campus classes (preferably in the summer, I am a teacher) but most of the curriculum be delivered online (my preferred learning modality).

    3) Reasonable tuition and the option of transferring in at least some of my Ed.S coursework to the new program. 9 hours minimum.

If anyone has any schools to recommend based on my list, I'd love to hear from you and have the option of exploring them. I thought I'd found them all until Dr. Pena made that post so I am trying my luck again in the hopes of finding a real gem that meets my stringent requirements.

    All the best!

    Ian
