Rushmore is the only alternative program mentioned (accredited or not), and the article doesn't make it clear that Rushmore isn't accredited. Otherwise interesting reading. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A42186-2002Mar17.html Rich Douglas, going back to sleep.
The only association made with DL is Rushmore, therefore, some readers will equate DL in general with this type of institution. This is frustrating and perhaps a touch of realism as well. While many on this forum have an eclectic view of DL, Im not sure that this has filtered through to the other six billion inhabitants of earth. Don't sleep too long, Rich, we thought you were hybernating for the winter.
Thanks for the article Rich. Very interesting. It would be interesting to see (in light of the Princeton officials comment) what a Ph.D. thirty years ago would think of Steve Levicoff's (or anone else's) two year UIU Ph.D. sans language and other requirements. It is unfortunate they focussed on Rushmore rather than some of the accredited programs. North
