    Hello fellows ,
After I have done my search i end up with two program :
E.dd organizational leadership at Northeastern university cost 24,000
doctor of management at university of Maryland university college cost 50,000

I know for name recognition and cost Northeastern university would be the best option .but as you guy may know I am MBA graduate and I'm looking to teach business in future and I'm not sure with E.D.D organizational leadership qualifies me to teach business classes ?

To be honest I tend to lean toward UMUC program but the price and the name of Northeastern make me think twice .

Is anyone here can tell us about his experience with E.D.D organizational leadership at Northeastern ?

whats My career options with EDD organizational leadership ?

regardless of the schools name which one do you think is more marktable doctor of management or E.D.D organizational leadership ?

Work-wise, it's your experience, rather than your degree, that matters, so I don't think it'll make any difference whether it's a DM from UMUC or an EdD from Northeastern. Academe-wise, Northeastern beats UMUC by a mile (plus who could resist Northeastern's way cheaper fees?)...

    Hi Aldrin ,
Thank you for reply , I have no experince whatsoever .I agree with you Northeastern way better reputation and cost than UMUC ,but I'm not sure if I can teach business course at college or university level with EdD degree . I think business school won't hire someone woth doctorate in education to teach courses !! I hope someone here would tell us whats the Job options for EdD graduate .

    Hi Fadia,

Please don't take this the wrong way, any form of critism be it constructive or positive critism, is meant to make us better. Having said that, you will not be able to get into a doctoral program with poor English skills, let alone teach. No one will take you seriously, not your peers and certainly not your students. Also, your lack of experience hurts you, how can you teach me about business if you have no experience, if you learn it from a book so can any student. The best route to take is to improve your English skills, I understand that English is not your first language, and that this is an informal board. However, if you want to teach, you should practice proper grammar whenever you get the chance, that way you improve your English skills. Get some experience first, get in the real world, work, teach part-time at your local colleges first, then you can start worrying about the nuances of an Ed.D degree versus a PhD a DBA and so forth. Hope this helps, again don't take it the wrong way, I wish you the best of luck.

No problem, we are here to help. I have never attended Northeastern University, I'm currently attending Northwestern University. Similar named universities, however, they are located in different cities, Northwestern is in Evanston (Chicago), and Northeastern is in Boston. In addition, I've heard Northeastern University is a fine school with excellent reputation.
