You can't take 12+ or even 9+ credit hours per term.
Thanks for posting the Spring 2012 (Gold) schedule of classes; and as you mention, ULM-Gold program is only offering 2-MBA courses (5030 INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS and 5039 STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT) for the in progress semester (Spring 2012). If as you write … this two course (6-hours) offering limit per semester is a regularity within the ULM-Gold MBA program, and 12-hours or more is never available during any academic semester; the tuition and required fees for the online MBA would increase to $1,536.45 for 6-hours (e.g., $256.07 per graduate credit hour X 30 = $7,682.25 for the AACSB accredited MBA ). Even at $7,682.25 (vs. $6,114), are you familiar with a current lesser cost AACSB MBA program offered elsewhere?

If you take 6 credits or less per term, you are charged in state tuition (which is currently only $190.27/credit). That said, the total cost of the online ENMU MBA program is $5708.

ENMU is regionally accredited. Their MBA program holds ACBSP programmatic accreditation.

Chadron State has a pretty affordable MBA (under 10K if I remember correctly). They also allow you to "test out" of the pre-reqs through an organization called Peregrine. If you fail to test out...they allow you to remediate through the same group....a good choice if you don't have all the classes you need going in.

Guys, if ABE route is taken into consideration, are there any universities which would allow an MBA Top-up completely online.

Secondly, i believe that there are 4 assignment based and 1 examination module for the Level 7 DMS.

Check the distance top up MBA below:
Master of Business Administration (top-up from DMS) (distance learning) MBA - The University of Northampton

It doesn't top up from ABE but from Edexcel that is a similar program.

about 3200 pounds plus fees for the Edexcel exams, the whole thing should be less than 7K USD .

I'm considering a similar program for accounting , I completed an accounting certification for less than thousand dollars and can top up for another 5 thousand for a Master's.

These programs are good if you are really good at testing. Many of the online programs at American schools are only tested based on essays and assignments so it is safer if you are not that good at exams.

I find it a lot easier to read a book, prepare and test for an exam instead of having to submit a bunch of essays, meaningless online discussions and assignments.

The british system is mainly based on exams and dissertation that is a final paper that integrates knowledge.

You are welcome. I've tracked this since the ULM GOLD program was introduced. Each time I look there are two and only two MBA courses offered each semester. The $1,536.45 you mention is the undergrad rate. The graduate rate is $1785.45 per 6 credits or $8927.25 for a 30 credit AACSB distance MBA . Still a fair price but a far cry from the $6114.00 quoted earlier. It is not your fault. Since the beginning there has always been an overly optimistic poster claiming that you can take 12 or more hours in a single semester. It simply has not been possible to take more than 6 MBA credits since the GOLD program's inception. Until that changes the program cost is $8927.25

Hmmm..I heard one of the school from California which my friend goes to, has an affordable tuition for MBA but you have to attend it on-campus only as they don't provide online classes.

The fee structure is $400 per credit and you need to finish 36 credits to graduate.

ITU is the name of the school and its in the silicon valley. It has 2 years of MBA program. ITU is unique because they are not just teaching from the textbook, the professionals come and share their experiences with the students. The curriculum is practical oriented and the instructors come from leading companies like Intel, Google, NASA, etc...

Here is the link for ITU:
