Does anyone have any info regarding Troy University's Applied Computer Science BS? How is Troy University? How well is a degree obtained from there seen?

Are there any other decent CS degree options from other schools?

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Troy University in 2006, which prior the program was changed into Applied Computer Science. I believed the program was changed due to lacking of Calculus courses. Troy University is a decedent state public institution, which supporting the military community. I earned it while on active duty in the United States Marine Corps. I have no rejection in any employment due to my degree from Troy University; however, the program curriculum was/is not strong to be in Programming field. If you are in the Information Technology, the program serves you every well.

I would recommend you to choose either Florida State University or Regis University's Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Also, don't forget to check out with Illinois State University at Springfield as well. Good luck with you decision on your higher education journey.
