    Guys, is this school legitimate.

    International Business School of Scandinavia

They offer a dual MBA award with Asia e University, Malaysia

I see no reason not to say it's legitimate, but it is not yet accredited. Their partnership with AeU means that particular degree should be recognized, though. Personally, I see no immediate reason to be excited about them, particularly since they have yet to publish their tuition fee rates.

    Actually the school is accredited:

    ASIC - College Directory
Listed under International Business University of Scandinavia.

    Look at Homepage.

Further more the MBA is accredited by the Malaysian Government.

So both school and program is accredited.

I just saw someone on LinkedIn touting their DBA from this school. As usual, DI had some coverage. Of course we know now that ASIC is not actually accreditation. Since the last person to comment here made this their only post, and their username is "IBUS" I assume that means they are representing the school and misrepresenting their credentials.

How would one verify if that partnership still exists and/or if it's valid?

You could start by looking at AEU's partner pages. and IBSS own page.

Guys - From AEU's page, this school (IBSS -Denmark) is owned by an Egyptian outfit - "My Global World Education Group" that owns four schools:

    International Business Academy - Switzerland
International Business School of Scandinavia - Denmark
Swiss School of Business and Hospitality - Switzerland
American Tech and Management University - US (California)

IBSS has legal permission to operate and award degrees in Denmark, but their degrees do not have the standing of State-recognized degrees. As we know, (and ASIC themselves say) ASIC accreditation in no way augments their degree-granting status. Asia e-university collaborates in many ways with many schools. I was unable to find anything about dual awards with this school on AeU pages. You can try your luck, if you like.

The American school owned by the same outfit appears to have ceased operation. No current web page. It had BPPE approval originally, but I presume that's gone with the "Accredit or Die" legislation.

My take. Degrees of a legal, private school without State recognition won't do well with accreditors over here. If there is a dual award, AeU is keeping rather mum about it. And if you have to dig for proof...
I dunno - if you want to ask - there's a conversation thingy on AeU page.

And DON'T take this as a sign of a return by yours truly. It's NOT. It's a one-time assist - period. A return is NEVER going to happen, I assure you. Hope this helps. Apparently, help is needed.
