I am currently a senior at a University in the great Los Angeles Area. I have a CLEP test scheduled for today, but I am feeling quite ill and couldn't sleep last night due to jet lag. I need to take a CLEP test before monday, January 9th in order to walk with my graduating class. I scheduled this test a while ago, but did not expect to be sick and tired. I was going to take one on Wednesday, but the freeway by the school I was going to take it was closed both ways for hours, due to a parolee that shot a police officer.

Does anyone know of any CLEP test centers that have tests on the weekends (this saturday and sunday) in LOS ANGELES or ORANGE COUNTY or even as north as SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, as south as SAN DIEGO and even as east as ARIZONA. I just really want to walk with my class. Thank you for your time. Enjoy your weekend.

    sincerely,

I already tried that. I was just hoping if someone knew of one.

I've had people at every level of my education (high school through graduate school) walk with the graduating class with outstanding work still due. They got an empty diploma holder, fulfilled the requirements later, and had their diplomas mailed to them.

It can't possibly hurt to ask.

Maybe your college would let you walk even though you have not fulfilled degree requirements. That is what I did at CSUDH.

I actually did that with my undergrad degree. I was 6 units (two classes) short but they let me walk with my class. The dean shook my hand and handed me a diploma case just like everyone else, the only difference was that my diploma case was empty. I finished it up shortly after that and I don't think anyone knew the difference. As soon as I finished the last classes, they mailed me a diploma to go in my empty case.
