Most grateful if anybody can give me some detail about St. Clement University. Is it a university or just a mill? Thanks

It is listed in the website of the Institute of the Professional Financial Managers ( http://www.ipfm.org ) together with the Irish International University. Do they have any relationship?

I am an accounting and finance professional.

I do not wish to get sued.

    They are all connected.

  6. The website for L&G Consultants & Education Services at http://www.education88.com/ links to pages for both "St Clements University" and the "Irish University Business School" (though perhaps not the most current pages).

The principal consultant Professor Dr. Lim Shian Ghee lists doctoral degrees from both St. Clements and the Irish University Business School (as well as Pacific Western University).

    ... and Warborough? and Greenwich?

Apparently he hasn't heard of Warnborough or Greenwich yet? Nothing like a second and third degree [following St Clements] from a 'distinguished' and 'Australian' university.

I do not have the 'connection' that my friend George Brown has with Mr Murdoch's stable to use published material, but if anyone wants to see the news here, log on to -

    www.theaustralian.com.au/highered

and you will read some local but in global terms, recycled news, this time headed 'Mail Order Bachelors' and another headed 'Authorities Plan to Crackdown on Clayton degrees'.

Clayton in this instance specifically referring to Warnborough '...which plans to offer ... joint degrees later this year...' [with non degree issuing institutions], and which is further described as '... a wannabee university, in a category that lacks official recognition in most countries but offers some teaching and assessment in return for degrees ... lists moonlighting and freelance academics as mentors ... another such body on Greenwich University ... it has been denied mainland recognition of its courses...'

Well, Mr Micheal Gallagher who vetoed Greenwich has been moved sideways, so maybe greenwich will ultimately succeed? One thing is for sure and that is that it won't progress without a scalp ... but whose?:p
