I have visited this forum from time to time. I would like to thank you guys. My final research paper was accepted by American Public University for the MPH. The degree is conferred in February. I had decided on the program from information on this forum. I am planning on moving forward with the Ph.D. in Leadership from Tennessee Temple University. I understand the TRACS vs. RA but I really do not plan on teaching. My work has tuition reimbursement and this is just for my own wall in my little office. Thanks for the information guys.
I'm glad that you found the information you were looking for and congratulations on your eminent graduation.
I understand that you "do not plan on teaching," and if you go the TRACS route for the PhD you can pretty much be assured that you will not be treaching; at least not at a major college or university. If your company has tuition reimbursement I really do not see the advantage of going the NA route. In addition, what do you teach with a PhD in "Leadership?" Look for a PhD degree that aligns with your MPH - something in health -from a RA school and position yourself to do what you want to do. Just my 2cents.
