Hey Everyone, I have been a frequent visitor to this site for about a month now, and i have finally decided to start the exam process explained in BA in 4 weeks. Anyways, can someone tell me the level of difficulty of the Natural Science CLEP?
Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Difficulty level is detailed in the BS degree 1st year web page and in the difficulty index table.

Best self assessment of difficulty is via the "CLEP Official Study Guide", and the Princeton Review, "Cracking the CLEP" (general exams). Accept no substitutes.

I took it two weeks ago and found it rather easy. I have taken nothing other than high school science courses, failing chemistry, but passing biology and earth science. I had never taken a physics course in high school.

I found it to be rather easy.

I sat for the CLEP Natural Science exam about four months ago.

DO use the _Princeton Review CLEP_ book as a prep guide.
I studied it, at least 100 pages of _Barrons SAT II Biology_( i.e., about one-third of it), for the biology portion, and most of an easy old textbook for Liberal Arts students entitled _This Blue Planet_ (1970s; order via abebooks.com for under $10), to cover a review of physics and chem. (It's a nifty fast-paced historical review of science history--but was so old it didn't cover plate techtonics in the chapter on geology! But the list of terms in the glossary is useful, as are chapters on the periodic table, etc.)
I got a 62 or 67--it's not hard BUT use Princeton Review to be sure you know the parts you ought to know! It also tells you how many questions in each science field there will be--thus very useful (study exam questions AND the answers; then try the Official CLEP Test book samples to gauge thequality of your reviewing).
For example, the principles of inheritance (Mendelian genetics) WILL be there! Do you want those points?
(I didn't get very far on that topic, and so missed most of them.)

    Good luck!
