Has anyone had experience with trasferring a Penn Foster Early Childhood Education Associates degree to any of the Big 3? Most of these classes are ACE reviewed.

You wouldn't transfer a "degree" anyway so you could transfer a substantial, if not all, of the ACE reviewed course credits to them as long as they applied within whatever degree you wanted to receive from them. The ones that aren't ACE reviewed would not likely be allowed.

PF is DETC. I believe that Excelsior will accept up to 30 DETC credits, assuming they are relevant to the degree.

  4. Hey buddy! I received my A.A from Penn Foster College and all the courses are ACE reviewed in the program. I transferred about 67 credits to Thomas Edison State College. I actually fulfilled all my upper level requirements with the Penn Foster credit. They didn't take it as an A.A obviously they treated it as ACE credit. So you are good to go as long as it's ACE reviewed.

Edit: Sorry my A.A from PFC was in Criminal Justice, however TESC took majority of them as Social Science credit and the remaining into free electives, etc.

Thanks. I feel better now that I know it was hassle free and easily done through ACE.

Can you share with me which courses TESC considered as upper level in criminal justice from Penn Foster?
