Anyone have any direct experience with this program? I am familiar with the course content; looking for input from someone enrolled in the BLS or MLS. Thanks.

It is considered traditional to provide a weblink when asking about a program.

I am from NC, and I looked into the program at one point. I can tell you that UNCG is a great school, one of the best in the state, and all the emails I received about the program were extremely helpful. I believe it is still reasonably priced. At any rate, you can try a few classes, and maybe finish the Global Studies certificate, which you can transfer over directly to the MLS program.

The only downside to this program, as far as I can see, is all the classes are labeled MLS...which means you would only be able to teach broad/humanities type classes later on, that is if you planned on teaching with the degree at some point.

At any rate, it is a reasonably priced program, with some interesting course offerings. I'm interested to know what you decide!

Paidagogos is probably right but there are a bunch of threads out there debating how the regional accrediting bodies determine course equivalency. Is it based on prefix or course description? Many courses are cross listed so that makes it even more difficult to answer.
